Safety first

Safeguarding children and young people

Man of Ubuntu is designed to support boys and the adults responsible for their care. Children's safety, privacy and dignity come before participation or growth.

Guardian-managed access

Children cannot independently create adult accounts. Any learner access requires appropriate guardian verification and consent. Adult spaces and sensitive account information must remain restricted to authorized users.

Responsible AI

Ubuntu Guide provides educational support, not emergency, medical, legal or mental-health treatment. It must not be used to share identifying details of children or to replace qualified professional judgement.

Raising a concern

If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or the appropriate child protection authority. For non-emergency concerns, contact the Man of Ubuntu team and request the safeguarding lead. Do not submit detailed allegations or children's identifying information through the general contact form.

Implementation status

A dedicated confidential reporting channel, designated safeguarding lead, escalation timelines and a published reviewed policy are required before supervised child-facing programmes begin. This page does not claim those processes are operational yet.
